Team N33T

About

Team N33T is an Original English Language visual novel group. We are currently working on our first project, Sepia Tears ~midwinter's reprise~, which is a 5-10 hour mostly-linear pseudo-nakige with elements of parody and sad things in snow. If that doesn't make sense to you, just click the link.

This is a dev blog in every sense of the word except for the fact that I don't actually blog on it. I will remedy that problem as soon as I figure out how to blog about a game while making said game. This site is not formal, and we are not a company. Despite the fact that our games are free, my goal is to create visual novels on par with those seen in the Japanese doujin scene, as well as the OEL manga that have been published in the U.S.

A Brief History

Our group didn't start as a group. Sepia Tears began as a poorly-thought-out project between myself (Eternal) and my friends in high school, but like most English VN projects before it, those plans were quickly scrapped. However, I was left with an ~80000 word script that I had grown attached to, and I kept the story at the back of my mind as I ventured through the internet. I eventually made contacts across the community and, one by one, met the people who comprise the current staff. Despite our patchwork group, we hope to one day create an English visual novel that isn't bad, but good. Sounds impossible, I know, but we'll do it.
